We still need to fight..
I sometimes post on a board for people in the 25-30 years age range. I need to show you some of the opinions I am seeing, how they are showing themselves for what are.

Here are some links if you want to see just how ugly these people are, how much of a problem we have. We need to stop this before they spin their way out of it. We have to be aggressive now.

I need people to read this please.

What we are seeing is a few people, the last of a breed still using spin to justify what we are seeing happening,

These are regular people. George is this example but burnout, Matt, Sunswing, Kataki, Vanity are others. What they do not understand is those times are OVER. The time when the neo-con cult can use spin to turn the tide of public opinion. This is not a time for spin, this is a time for healing for helping, for caring. NOT for debating taxation, for talking about how rugged America is and how the fact they didn't walk is not what Americans was built on. It was built on people pulling together, helping each other. Why did FEMA turn away 500 citizens with boats? Why were the wetlands destroyed when we KNOW they offer protection. Why was funding cut. We OWE it to the people in NO to ask these questions. Do you people understand at all? Over 10,000 are dead, it is our generations time to take over and not only answer these question, but stop this from happening again.

Over the last week we have seen "leaders" spend more time on photo ops and spin, PR over ER And they continue. Think back over the past 4 years, we all thought these are two political ideologies debating. It's more than that, these people who are still defending, still enabling should be shot.

We are witnessing something that will change all our lives. The neo-cons agenda was to gut government. To rape it, to reduce it. They wanted to use their influence to change the rest of the World to their image of society. It has not only failed, but it has been shown for what it is. This is the end, and we cannot tolerate these people any more.

George you post about somebody dividing the country? Your post was aimed at division, Bush's policy for 5 long years have been aimed at division. Do you not see ho hypocritical you are?

There has been a death of critical thinking in the greatest country that ever was. And it's the death of our society and the rebirth of a new society we are seeing.

The people who said let them walk, lets think about this. Every single one of you owes it to the dead to take 10 minutes to think about what these people were saying a few days ago. Just take 10 minutes. They could have walked. They said a few days ago that they could have walked. They also said that did not mean they were saying the dead were to be blamed. Well let's look at that. Old people in homes were guilty of not walking. Mental patients were guilty of not walking. Tourist who did not know the area, were guilty of not walking. People who were back from Iraq, legs blown off, were guilty of not walking. They said they should have walked. They said if they got out they would not have been dead. Implying that it's the peoples fault, not the governments. So why have a government? That is their ultimate goal.

You all need to think about what was said in the immediate aftermath of this. You need to think of who said what. This is the time to care more. To not think with such selfishness and ugliness. This is the time for this country to mend. To repent its sins, and to work as a nation again. It is not the time to drive wedges between people. Look at who in the last week did this, and ask yourself why they did it. What makes a person so uncaring that they have no empathy, no sense of loss. The people who said they should walk are DAMAGED people. I don't know why they are who they are. I have no answers. I do not know why they said hat they said or why they continue to talk in the language of politics, after tens of thousands are dead. But they did. Now ask yourselves why? Why would somebody be so uncaring when the dead float? Why did a conservative say we should invent a new drink, with black gummy bears floating in it. Go find this mans words... see how conservatives think.

We need to move forward. We need to seek answers. We need to get to the bottom of this and people need to go to jail. We need to understand there is a reason for taxation. We need help on a federal level and we did not get it. We need to draw parallels between Iraq and what has happened here. If we cannot handle the situation a short flight away, and we know things have been going on in Iraq, slow response, not enough funding or backup, maybe these are the same people failing in the same ways thousands of miles apart.

They called the victims insurgents in NO. Somebody lied about people shooting at helicopters. Somebody lied about the size of the "riots". Why? As an excuse for their failures? As an excuse as to why people were not being rescued? The woman in charge of all air traffic has said she has NO REPORTS of any air born craft being shot at. None. So why is it in the news that there were? The fact is the vast majority were helping others, saving others, but people talk about the few hundred people who did not? What can you learn from that?

I do not believe that the people who have used the techniques of division over the past 5 years, normal people, not politicians are STILL using these divisive words and now, as they do, say it is OTHERS driving wedges between people.

THINK people. Now is the time to spend some of your time thinking about why this happened, how it happened and the people who still today continue to defend what has happened. Finding facts, you cannot rely on the corporate media to give you the correct information, the correct frame to the argument.

What we will see is the local officials who have been so critical, become less critical when they realize they are to blame as well. When they are TOLD they are guilty as a way of shutting them up. These people Rove, and Wolferwitz can bend public opinion in a way we have not seen before. It's manipulative to the extream. Then people who have so much to loose will no be so angry anymore, the spin will continue and some of your opinions of the last week will change to reflect that spin. It's up to you people to remember and ask questions. Remember the anger you feel NOW. This is your time to shine, it is your (every one of you) responsibility to honor the dead here and get the facts. I am not even asking you to take my view to heart, i am just asking you all to go and look for reality. Will you all do it? Or will you get back in to your lives and move on? I think you will do the right thing this time, i hope you do.

Take the blue pill and do it now.
