I believe Bush WILL be impeached! I believe that it can be done.
I believe that I will see him impeached. It's like in Lord of the Rings, I think it was the second one, when Gandolf and the crew were in the cave running from the monster dragon thing and Gandolf turned to face the dragon at the bridge and with all of his might and sheer force of his will said, "YOU SHALL NOT PASS." That's how I feel. Bush shall not succeed in ruining America with his selfishness, greed and stupidity. I will not allow it. I will believe in something other than disaster for this country. In my mind's eye I will believe that Bush is being impeached. I will dream of it and maybe others will dream of it too. What's your vision? "...Without vision, the people perish..." I am not sure what book or verse to quote, but it's from the good book. The one that the Rethugs don't own. So, I will choose to believe, right now, that this madness stops here! That EVIL Bush shall not pass!

Get thee behind me Satan; YOU SHALL NOT PASS!

2. I believe...
I believe that Bush stole two elections.

I believe that Bush and Co believed that they were immune to any type of restraint.

I believe that they mistook the 911 tragedy and the 911 enabled war as proof of this.

I believe that they are mere mortals, not masters of the universe.

I believe that their mortal vision is in clear focus and repulsive to about 80% of the country.

I believe that as we approach an 65% disapproval, as measured by the non corporate polls, there will be a robust discussion of both Iraq and NOLA.

I believe that at that time there will be break through reports on election fraud which we need to remember took place just last November (or August if you count the Ohio 2nd Congressional district special election in, where else, Ohio).

I believe that those three topics form the perfect storm for Bush & Co.

I believe that as the storm swirls, we will see the difference between 65% disapprove surge to nearly 75%.

I believe that as that happens, Bush will be more limited than ever before and there will be calls for replacement ("resignations by Bush, Cheney, and the rotten crew).

I believe that this will happen in the next six months.

I believe that if I'm wrong people will taunt me with this post.

and I know that I don't care because this is what I believe (vision thing, you know).

:hi:

40. YES, you can - HERE!
Edited on Sun Sep-11-05 12:32 PM by calimary
What I've been doing is closing most of my conversations with people, either on the phone or in person, with "Visualize IMPEACHMENT! Pass it on..."

I get a LOT of favorable feedback.

YES. BELIEVE.

Visualize IMPEACHMENT!!!!!!!

Don't cloud your mental images with worries about - "oh, dear, but that leaves us with cheney" or "oh, dear, it'll never happen" or "oh, dear, I'm just one person - I can't really do anything" - JUST DON'T.

JUST DON'T.

Visualize IMPEACHMENT ANYWAY!!!!!

If you go to church on Sunday or something, anytime you pray, any time you light a votive candle, anytime you meditate, anytime you do ANYTHING, see if you can spend at least a wee bit of time on creative visualization.

Don't forget the mental pictures: bush in an orange jumpsuit, for example. Or the big, screaming headline in a major newspaper or even your own local one - "bUSH IMPEACHED!" (Sorry, I can't give him a capital "b," just can't do it.) bush being frogmarched OUT of the White House. See in your mind's eye the handcuffs they've just clamped around his wrists behind his back. See him sitting next to his battery of lawyers in trial. See him in the witness box at The Hague. Picture his face behind bars. Just imagine it. Use mental imagery. As detailed as possible. Just focus on that. You can work on cheney later. It is CRITICAL to focus on this, NOW. Start it NOW. BE that proverbial fluttering butterfly wing halfway across the world that could affect the flow of the currents here. BE that constant drop-drop-drop of water that eventually bores a hole in a stone.

Everything we see around us started with somebody's IDEA. And that THOUGHT eventually turned into a THING. Or a REALITY. But first, you've gotta get your mind around it.

The only way this doesn't work is if you give up. Sometimes it takes awhile. But if you do nothing, you GUARANTEE that nothing happens.

My father, all American but 1/2 German, 1/2 Irish, would roll these off every now and then, not as injusctions but as commentary and instruction. He claimed they were from the German side of the family.

Ilike the "job once well done" quote. Soooo true, right Mike Brown!

5. I envision LOVE and Truth in Action will ultimately overthrow the KILLERS
It is tragic that Katrina may be the silver bullet that destroys and ends the reign of the MURDERING B*SHLer War Criminal Club.

Hearts and minds are awakening all over the world. They are losing one of their last covers...secrecy...the death and devastation in NO and the constant TV coverage is deeply mirroring the horror in Iraq and other places in the world being raped and destroyed by the INSANITY, Greed and STUPIDITY of just a small group of mentally ill individuals.

I join you and Autorank in seeing the future, and it will be beautiful once these killers are locked up for good, and all of the creativity, brilliance, and love will transform this planet from war torn to sustainable and living as if we ARE ONE FAMILY.

Peace for all living beings will be a reality, we must evolve on every level and we will.

kick for the TRUTH

No one can be fooled at this point, they are guilty and will not be allowed to harm.

The lesson is we must take care of one another and as a global family stand together.

Do it for the Casey Sheehans. So THEY won't have died in vain.

DO it for the 9/11 victims. So THEY won't have died in vain.

Do it for THEM.

Their deaths are tragic and so heartbreakingly unnecessary. THIS is how you give meaning and honor to that sacrifice and loss. Their souls cry out for justice. THIS is how those needless deaths will be avenged.

The Rethugs in Congress are fighting for their lives now. They are well aware they have to flush Bush or face joblessness.

Next month, just about the time the NO travesty is starting to fade from the MSM, Fitzgerald will issue a series of indictments of Rove, Libby, and probably several other traitors.

Shortly after that, the bankruptcy bill's effect on NO survivors will become a big stink, and its credit card provisions will slam virtually every American.

Bush is face down in the potty right now. His former friends in Congress know the whole "school" has gathered to watch. They will pull the lever. They have to. But it won't help them, because they have already lost Congress.

Sums up the maturity of Congress aptly and precisely. It's going to be like NASCAR on a hot and humid Sunday (how ironic).

Hadn't thought about the bankruptcy bill but the banks won't be able to resist, not those banks down there. They'll see it as their civic duty, ya know, clearing out the projects.

We have to keep the heat on up until election day 2006 to make sure they don't get too bold and try to pull a "Cleland" on us. They need the fear of the people and God, the machine owners, and know that if they even try, it will cause a non stop uproar!

Great thoughts but sad also.

28. I envision a peaceful world with honorable leaders
For a while I was visualizing the CNN headline "Entire * Administration Impeached". Then I realized that that vision would constitute interference in other peoples' "free will". Even if those people are evildoers rarely before seen on this planet, they still are entitled to free will (as are we all). So visualizing something bad happening to particular individuals (no matter how much we think they deserve it) violates the immutable Laws of the Universe.

So now I visualize a world exactly as I would like it to be, peaceful and cooperative, without greed and murder and war. I visualize us being past this awful phase as a society, and people everywhere realizing that we are all connected (and conducting their lives with this in mind).

In other words, instead of visualizing the ABSENCE of something bad, why not visualize the PRESENCE of something good? Because that's the only way this process of manifesting something you desire works. Just like if you want to lose weight--instead of visualizing losing those pesky pounds, imagine instead the sleek body you desire! (If you "lose" them, you will undoubtedly find them again!)

One last thing--if we just imagine getting rid of them, we have not taken care of the critical issue of who will replace them. Dick Cheney, anyone? Hastert? So how about we all think about the world as we want it to be?

It means asshole has that blot on his historical record, NO MATTER WHO WRITES THE HISTORY BOOKS. Whether he's IMPEACHED - AND REMOVED FROM OFFICE, it's the IMPEACHMENT itself that counts.

We can do it one of two ways:

1) Either we get the House back in which case John Conyers and others will get the ball rolling.

or

2) We do EVERYTHING we can to encourage public opinion to go OUR way, whether it be talking to friends and getting at least a few of them involved or activated, or phoning your reps (YES. BOTH Dems AND republi-CONS) and beating the drum again and again "to kind of catapult the propaganda," so to speak. Give them NO rest. Give them NO escape from the CONSTANT, NEVER-ENDING calls for IMPEACHMENT. If public opinion continues along these lines, there will be enough republi-CONS who read the writing on the wall - especially since THEY are up for reelection and they WON'T be eager to hitch their wagons to an anvil. PLEASE remember: It was the GOP that finally pushed Nixon out. For the sake of their own personal AND party survival. And many of us thought THAT would never happen, also.

DON'T cloud your thinking, OR your focus, OR your meditation with worries or fears or "...but..." Just don't.

As many DUers have said here - focus on the POSITIVE.

39. Don't kid yourself or any one else.
Well, as much as I wish this wasn't true; I think you're only kidding yourselves to think there is any way Bush will be impeached.
The Republicans will never do it. Bush has had their full support for everything that Bush and the Republicans have done to America and the world. Bush and the Republicans in Congress have been in lock-step to bring down the government.
The Democrats will not bring impeachment proceedings against Bush because they have been supporting most of the Bush/Republican agenda. Most of the Democrats have been bought and paid for by the global corporations and the military/industrial complex.
The Democrats also know the American people will not support an impeachment. Bringing impeachment charges will bring to much focus on how both sides of the aisle operate in Washington. Whatever Bush has done, the American people are suckers enough to believe that Bush didn't do it with malice.
I would love to wrong in my assessment.

That's how we do it here. Never bring the full force of the process to bear (e.g., get rid of Nixon but no jail time). The trick is to make sure honorable replacements is selected to take their place.

61. My thinking tends towards reality.
The Democrats can get control of Congress. They still won't have the stomachs to start an impeachment. If they start impeaching, they will probably not be able to win the White House in 2008 because the country will turn against the Democrats.
Let's support whatever Democrats we can to move this country as far to the left as Democrats are willing to go.

Whether he pays before that I cannot say.

71. Good news dawd...we would have gotten Agnew. They made sure
Agnew was gone so they could put in Ford, they "exit stage left, President Nixon" (the helicopter is ready). Cheney will have to go first and watch what Fitzgerald does. It he's really motivated, he'll indict Libby and name Cheney a "person of interest." Since it's treason in everybody's mind, technically or not, the Cheney will be gone.

I just wanted to point out the political reality of the Senate and getting to 68 votes. Some here think that the Repubs will jump to get rid of Bush. Truth is many are owned part and parcel by Bush and the Repubs are probably at their strongest since the 1920s under Bush.

The right wing has the money to keep their Man-child president in office, and they will do it at any cost They have too much to lose if he were to be taken out. They will do anything and everything just as they have always done to keep the power, and they still own the media.

He's a criminal in every way, and if any democrat did just one of the many things he has done to hurt this country, they would have already been impeached. They impeach for a tawdry little affair between two consenting adults, but would never impeach one of their own even though he is an enabling murderer. They don't love this country; they love their power. :banghead: :banghead:
