2. I'd rather be angry than sad.
But I certainly find a mix of both is the norm. There's an anti-war rally in my area, next weekend. I'm sure I'll be there unless the fates interfere.

Perhaps we can get the same troops carrier, where the "Mission Accomplished" banner was aired, to have family members reading their names.
