Over 1/2 Americans believe |
|
Just read a headline on CNN web site..Over 1/2 of Americans believe we cannot win in Iraq. This is quite different than saying over 1/2 just don't approve of being there..Well its headed if not already there of being a Vietnam all over again.

1. I keep remebering Walter Pinkus having a hissy fit |

the day Scott Ritter (both on Washington Journal) said the US would be run out of Iraq with our tails between our legs.
Have we heard from Scott Ritter lately? At least he's been to Iraq and knows the people somewhat.

If 1/2 of Americans think we can't win the war in Iraq, then why would they approve of our being there?

But Bush's "Gulf of Tonkin" will be the "Gulf of Mexico", and Katrina will be the Tet Offensive that tips popular opinion (and support for his Iraq War) against him. Different Gulf, different offensive, same effect -- STOP THE WAR.

We were supposed to help "spread democracy" and "find WMD's" ... what's there to win ? Who's the boogey man ?
 People in this country amaze me with their simplistic stupidity sometimes.
