Rep. Reynolds (R-NY) in FULL-ON SPIN MODE on Meet The Press |
|
no need to type what he's said, you can guess "politically motivated".

1. Timmy bringing up DeLay interview from CNN.... |
|
that Pelosi (via her website), Earle and the DCCC (via its website) were conspiring to indict DeLay.
Rep. Emanuel (D-IL) is saying websites don't indict. :D

That was all DeLay was about: political power plays. What goes around comes around.
(assuming he's talking about DeLay)

4. OMG! Reynolds is making himself dizzy!!! |

Timmy just leveled that charge that * is the biggest spending President in history and deficits are growing like mad.
Reynolds' response?
"Well, we had 9/11, Katrina, and fighting the war on terror."
Reynolds just before had gone into spittle mode ripping the Democrats as opposition, spend and tax, big government, yadda yadda yadda.

6. I though Rohm Emanuel blew him away |
|
Rohm calmly laid out why the republican culture of corruption was hurting America. Reynolds looked angry and defensive. I think democrats win big if anyone was watching that. I was a bit disappointed he stopped short of saying voting to authorize war in Iraq was a mistake but it probably would have drawn away from the point of what he was saying. Funny how Reynolds blustered about no new ideas coming from democrats and then Emanuel laid out 5 big ideas, which I might expect to see from the next democratic administration. Way to go Rohm!
