Scandals not many beyond the "Choir" seem to care about....
Is it me or do many of the Rethuglican scandals seem to be forgotten too quickly by those outside of the Dem area?

Sure, we love them, but it seems like the general population seem to get scandal fatigue quicker and quicker. Look at Gannon/Guckert. What else can one ask for? We have the biggest homophobic administration in history and at one time a gay male prostitute with mysterious unfettered access and the scandal goes no where.

And let's get off the media is owned by the rethuglicans. Our get out the message part leaves some things to be desired.

2. No one proved Gannon slept with anyone at the WH and even if,
it's not like Dems should be the ones spreading homophobia about it.

And guys like DeLay have walked on charges like this. A lot. And if anyone's gonna walk on charges like this, it's DeLay.

And DeLay's a master of spin. Most frivolous indictment of its kind in AMERICAN HISTORY, he says. Who has the legal knowledge or political stomach to dispute that among the media?

No, the media would be interested in indictments that seem to involve something a lot more serious or would have much greater repercussions, which the Gannon case did NOT have, and the media most certainly would be interested in convictions.

Here in my state we've got a Republican Mayor who spent his career fighting against the rights of homosexuals - but was recently exposed as a homosexual who offered city job internships through a gay website.

HUGE SCANDAL!!!

For about 2 weeks. Now, no one even talks about it.

Move along. Nothing to see here.
