Dems will be able to block Miers with charges of cronyism

I think that's what Rove and Co. might want. The Democrats will block Miers and then they will come in from behind and nominate someone with more experience....with an ultra conservative background. Then they will play clips of the Democrats complaining about Miers lack of experience to get the public to not buy in to us challenging the second nominee.

With the recent "Brownie" scandal, I can't believe the White House would actually think they could push through another unqualified crony to a position of power. If it's not a trap then Rove's on vacation OR they have gotten overconfident about the current level of ineptitude in the Democratic Party in regards to getting a coherent message to the public.

They say one of the reasons she has been nominated is that several Dems suggested her. We need to reserve judgment. This could be a good pick.

I have a feeling that she was on the Dems acceptable list. I don't think there will be a serious attempt to block this nomination.
