Sounds great, huh? Sounds like our economic attacks on AQ are successful, huh? Just in time for Bush's speach and to bolster his low poll numbers.

Look at the date of the intercept. This is not news, this staler than my high school gymshoes. And I am in my late 40s. July 7! This is nothing more than a timely release of information alleged to involve a person who may not even exist.

Maybe I am getting cynical, but, burn me once, you know the rest. The release of this story, on top of hazmat teams at Penn Station - well, I just have a problem believing this. I wonder what other "good news" they have stored up, next to "bad news", ready to be used at a moment's notice.

I thought the same thing when I heard it was months ago, and then realized how many months ago.

Seems like it's going to take quite a few thousand of US to keep up with the spin doctors this week. It's been a hell of a week hasn't it?
