Keith will be going through the list of terror alerts that were associated with "bad news" for the White House. So far, he says that he has about nine incidents where bad news for the White House was followed by terror alerts..ummmm...something fishy, no doubt.

4. About time

I think a program on this subject is long overdue. This admin's use of 'terror' to deflect attention away from Bush's failures has been glaringly obvious for some time now. And luckily, Keith Olbermann is actually just the right sort of newsperson to be handling this subject on air. Should be a good one--I'm really looking forward to it.

7. And have you noticed...

when a 'terror alert' isn't used, Bush drags his sorry little butt out to make yet another sorry little hey-now-don't-forget-about-all-that-there-terror-stuff speech? It's either an alert or a speech, every time. It's so obvious it's almost a little pathetic.

the 4th amendment is "DEAD".No longer do police need,"probable cause"
to sneak a peek into your bags/containers.You just need to look like
a terrorist.What does a terrorist look like? Tim McVeigh,Osmam Bin Laden etc. and we have millions looking like both.Its all part and
parcel of "Martial Law" which is already here but not yet totally
implemented.Just think if you forgot to take out of your bag/purse/
fanny pack that 1/4oz. of weed,now your busted.I hate this Gov't
bigtime,I could be arrested for my thoughts {like Winston Smith 6031-A}in Orwell's 1984.....

8. That's something I've wondered about, with searches.

If they're searching for possible bombs or whatever in people's bags, and they do find something illegal but unrelated to terror, are they supposed to stop and arrest that person? Or are they given orders to only arrest people with actual terror-related items?

10. I think your fears are probably valid

Of course, there are loonies who think the planet is ruled by aliens and other equally laughable hypotheses. That said, it seems likely that the climate of fear they are creating is deliberate. That creates an impression of constant danger and sends out a message to those who are susceptible to what I can only describe as a "control mechanism". Those susceptible to this form of conditioning will act like frightened hens and will, therefore, be unlikely to look beyond the message they are being sold.

Given the chicanery that was used to get us into this mess in the first place, and the enormity of the stakes being played for, it is perfectly reasonable to draw an inference of deliberate policies being implemented as part of the whole game plan.

Dem convention was pretty obvious. I'm glad Keith is going to question this "nexus" and hope it reaches the light of scrutiny.
