Is Cheney hiding because of Plamegate? |
|
Is there reason to believe that the WH knows that Dr Strangelove is going down and has kept him out of the media to distance W from him?

is that he's huddling with lawyers, trying to figure out what's going to happen, when no one knows anything.
(I am falling rapidly in love with Patrick Fitzgerald for keeping such a perfect seal on all his staff. Utterly amazing in this town.)
My other theory about Dickless Cheney is that his recent surgery left him disabled - the one time I saw him out and about in public, he was using a cane and seemed to have gained an enormous amount of weight - and that's just a bad image to convey to the morans who think he and Fuckface are the Dynamic Duo.
Personally, I'm hoping he'll explode.
Then Hastert, who's even bigger.
Just theories .............

13. What a bunch of pros! |
|
In my thirty years as a Washington lawyer, I've never heard of any - ANY - investigation that didn't leak as a matter of routine.
My colleagues who have been at it for fifty years are saying the same thing.
Fitzgerald is such a pro. And he's got staff who are just as honorable and honest as he is.
This unabated secrecy is unheard of.

14. He's 'way too big for that kind of bloat |
|
With congestive heart failure, water retention is always a problem, but that's when they slap the patient into a hospital and drain him. Literally.
I had a big, fat old aunt - man, she was mean - who ran into this problem. In just a few days, they drained off so much retained water, she was no longer big and fat. Just old and mean.
My guess is that he's on steroids for something else - they cause people to puff up really big, if administered in large doses. Corticosteroids got a shitload of unpleasant side effects.

12. I suspect his health is worse than they admit |
|
In recent photographs Cheney looks like a big lump of shit. Remember those Aug photo ops of him wearing a heavy overcoat in Texas at Bush's 'ranch'?
I suspect his heart problems are worse than the doctors are letting on.

15. But, he IS a big lump of shit........ |
|
I agree with you, and I think his health has always been so bad that he should never have been on the ticket.
But, then, who would have dared to stick his hand up Fuckface's ass and work the puppet, hmmmm?
Let's now think happy thoughts and hope that this current investigation and Cheney's incipient legal problems are making him sicker than he's ever been.
I still want him to explode.
Then Hastert.

5. It's starting to look like it. |

Here's my guess, supported by various bits and pieces of things I've read online: Fitz's strategy has been to pit Bush's people (Rove et al) against Cheney's people (Libby et al), and probe relentlessly in the cracks where their stories diverge. Prosecutors "threaten" and "bully," but they also offer deals when it suits their purposes. If Rove has flipped and testified against Cheney in exchange for reduced charges, it's no surprise that Bush and Cheney are estranged, and that Cheney's keeping a low profile. This is all just speculation, but it's delicious nonetheless.

Dick, the Warhawk, is putting the finishing touches on the phoney evidence that will be used to justify our attack on Iranian military targets deemed to support the alledged Iranian nuclear program.
Soon he will be out stumping,"We have conclusive evidence, now made public by Fox News."

That's Rumsfeld.
Cheney is a dark lord of the underworld, undead, and leader of many loyal zombie minions.

Don't forget... he said he didn't serve his country in Vietnam because he "had other priorities" at the time.
