Filibuster time
there was never a more important time for the filibuster to be used.

Scalito must never sit on the high court.

2. I am so tired of all this fighting!!--while our nation is degenerating.
We have no health care 'system', our infrastruction is crumpling, our piggy bank is broke, the administration, the Houuse and senate leaders are under investigation. the list goes on and on. Now this!!

5. Now's not the time to wilt fellow DUer ...
If it's "too much" I fully understand. Just step aside and allow us to hopefully INJECT A SPINE in our Democratic Senators.

IMO, It's now or never.

If not now when?

A raging conservative replacing the moderate O'Connor is not acceptable.

It might be a fight we can't win, but it is one that needs to be fought.

4. Let's make it *widely* known - as Democrats ...
Any ... yes, ANY Senator who votes for this immoral and radical man will have his *political ass* handed back to him by the voters.

No Slack!

6. The next nominee is going to be confirmed.
The republicans will use the 'nuclear option'. There is no doubt of that. There is no way they can allow bush to have another failure.

9. But the nominee can be confirmed
without Democratic support.

That's the point. NO Democratic support. Make the Repukes put this man on themselves, over the filibuster, by using the nuclear option. Make them WHOLLY responsible.

It will simply be Roberts redux.
