Regnery Publishing. Destroying America.
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 06:38 PM by Jara sang
If you aren't familiar with this publishing organization, take a look at them. They are to the printed word what Foxnews is to television broadcasting. They publish nearly all the right-wing Christo-fascist propaganda that is on the market today.

A short list of some of their authors:William J. Bennett; Patrick J. Buchanan; William F. Buckley Jr.; Mona Charen; Ann Coulter; Mark W. Davis; Michael Farris; Steve Forbes; J. Dennis Hastert; David Horowitz; Laura Ingraham; Wayne LaPierre; G. Gordon Liddy; David Limbaugh; Michelle Malkin; Oliver L. North; Ted Nugent; John O’Neill; Mitt Romney; Caspar W. Weinberger; Curt Weldon.

This tripe is spoon feed to the brain dead Republican/conservative masses. They have no clue that they are being manipulated into living in abject fear. These authors propagate the fascist Republican agenda and their readership then moves lock stepped with the Republican hate machine in destroying America's core values of freedom and liberty.

6. They "manufacture" best sellers.. here's how.
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 06:49 PM by SoCalDem
They pay their screaming heads and think tank "thinkers" to write books.. These books don;t even have to be factual( and usually are not)..

The think tanks & "alphabet-soup organizations" ORDER and buy (from regnery tons of these books..they zoom to the top, the "authors" are shopped to all the rightwing dominatged "talk shows' to talk about their BEST SELLER..

The books are 'sold' at the various 'meetings' and fundraisers...(to the already faithful)...

The ones sent to the various legit book stores are mostly used to create the display, and after a time, are boxed up and sent back to Regnery for credit..

The bulk of the BEST SELLERS will be for sale at 99cent stores & Big Lots in a few months..

8. They published a book about UFOs
Put out by J. Allen Hynek who was involved with Project Bluebook. Which makes me think the whole UFO phenomenon may be an orchestrated cover story.

7. They're a fascist publishing house
"William Regnery was also one of the founders of the American Security Council - he was later replaced by his son Henry. Regnery and two other isolationists began broadcasting Human Events and in 1947 started the Regnery publishing business. Interestingly enough, the first two titles published by Regnery were critical of the Nuremberg Trials. The third book Regnery published was another pro-Nazi book attacking the allied air campaign. In 1954, Regnery published two books for the John Birch Society. He was also the publisher behind Buckley's God and Man at Yale. In light of the publishing of the pro-Nazi books it is interesting to note that Regnery Publishing was subsidized by the CIA, according to Howard Hunt."

And of course, they printed millions of pages of sick vitriol against President Clinton.
