So I concede she's not electable, but wouldn't Nancy Pelosi make a great president?. |
|
It could happen, you know.

1. I think she would make a great President. |
|
And I think she could have been electable, but she's in a very important spot right now.

6. She'd make a great president, but no greater than most of the current Democratic candidates. |

She'd do as an interim president, aside from that she's to weak...swayed by fear, and ridicule. She tells people what they want to here...but fails to tell them the truth. We've got one of those now, we don't need another one...perhaps she's an evil that can't be escaped if congress carries out it's constitutional obligations but the Dems should get rid if her as soon as they can...if they want a woman I can think of a few that would be a FAR superior choice....and Hilary Clinton is not one of them btw.

I have those feelings about her sometimes, but I don't know other times.Compared to Hillary I'd be happy to vote for her.I think if she were actually in charge she might do pretty good, and to be honest,I can think of far worse faces for America to project to the rest of the world right now.Agree with her or not,she handles herself with a lot of class and dignity, and that's something the US hasn't brought to the international table in along time (Bush keeps showing up in an Elmo bib).
She wouldn't be my first female choice (President Maxine Waters anyone?) but we could do worse (President Pickles anyone?).
Other than that, how ya doin? :)

Well I'd have to agree with you on the Goldwater Girl. It seems odd though, that she hasn't mentioned the fact that of the 500 billion spent on the Police Action about 475 billion has been spent on "private contractors", that of the 80 billion currently being sought by Bush about 75 billion will be, as well. The "funding bill" has nothing to do with funding the troops and very much to do with funding Bush and Cheney and certain congresspeople of both party's pals. The "blank check" as it is called is a BLANK CHECK. Bush has NO ACCOUNTABILITY...none. Interestingly in the "new" bill they just had vetoed...Bush has NO ACCOUNTABILITY EITHER. It is a blank check, same as the last one, for any and all purposes.
Hope you kick it's ass dude!

It's strange you took it for granted Pelosi is unelectable. You need to cut down on your consumption of mainstream news.

She's a very accomplished businesswoman, but has become too polarizing. Take that away and yes, I think she would.
