Behind the media's glare and on the ground, many things are moving his way, from endorsements to the Pakistan issue putting a premium on experience. Further, like Edwards, he's going to be a second choice for many voters unlike Hillary and Obama who have effectively created "isolated" (term used loosely here) campaigns pitted against the other.
