I love most of our candidates. |
|
John Edwards speaks to issues that affect real people, even when it risks alienating him from influential powers.
Joe Biden has a ton of common sense approaches to foreign policy, and would make a brilliant president.
Barack Obama inspires hope for the future, and for a change in the ways of politics.
Dennis Kucinich takes positions he believes in, and speaks passionately for them, regardless of political expediency.
Mike Gravel is firey, and willing to stir things up and speak truth to power.
Even Chris Dodd had improved my opinion of him with his commitment to public service and making the world better.
The only candidates who really haven't done anything to impress me are Richardson and Clinton. Richardson seems to me like a competant enough guy, but without the spark of inspiration and leadership. Clinton comes off as a political opportunist, calculating her positions with a ruler for maximum benefit.

3. It was, and I'm shocked that I haven't needed it yet. |

And yet, this post has four recommendations. Undercurrent of rationality on DU? Say it ain't so!

2. I think most of them are acceptable. |

Some marginally, some more so.
Just a couple are off of my table entirely. I hope to see some of the 75% that are at least acceptable do well in Iowa.
