Did anyone else find it odd that Hillary was surrounded on stage by non-Iowans? |

5. It was a staged event. |
|
They were discussing that on CNN last night before Hill made her speech. The people were members of a group that endorsed Hillary, but were in another area, and they were asked to move into the room where the TV cameras were located.

I think they wanted to make sure the enthusiasm level was high, though. CNN stated they were in another room nearby, and were asked to relocate. Maybe a lot of people went home early, who knows.

10. I'm not trying to be "ugly;" I guess what I'm thinking is that its reflective of |
|
the Clinton addiction to celebrity and wanting to surround themselves with people they think to be important. This election is supposed to be about ordinary people, so I'm concerned about the campaign's blind eye to this. Even the website maybe should be balanced with testimonials from "ordinary" people who have decided to vote for her and don't know her.

11. Some very high profile people are |
|
Hillary supporters. Is John Mellancamp from Iowa - I'm thinking he was on the stage with Edwards. This election is about all Americans, famous and not. I still maintain you come off as petty.

If that kind of support hurt a candidate, they simply wouldn't do it anymore. It must influence some people. Cracks me up about Huckabee winning. I don't think after being so lucky with our own candidates (I could enthusiastically vote for any of them) we'd get such a clown to run against. That's an embarassment of riches although I'd be very surprised if he's the chosen one for the pubbies.

How could you look at all the people on that stage and determine who is and who is not an Iowan? How can the M$M? Another question. "This election is supposed to be about ordinary people" Who voted in the caucuses? "Celebrity" or "ordinary" people?

17. Addiction to celebrity? |
|
Give me a break. I saw her husband, daughter and mother there. Then I saw some of the extremely competent people who are advising her: Madeleine Albright and Wes Clark to name a couple. If you consider these people "celebrities," at least their fame is earned by a life time of public service. I saw no Hollywood or rock stars, like Oprah or Mellancamp. Not that I find anything wrong with having those people involved either. But let's get real about which you're labeling as based on "celebrity."

I'm not an Iowan and wish that I was also there. Much like I was with them throughout the impeachment Republican witch hunt.

It was a political move to make her crowd look excited. The problem was that the media picked up on it.
