Where have all the Clinton supporters gone on this board?
Edited on Fri Jan-04-08 03:35 PM by calteacherguy
I won't name names, of course, but where have all the most visible Clinton supporters gone that have been hammering this board for months with poll after poll, screaming "Hillary is 44," "nothing can stop her," etc?

Where did they go?

I miss them...I can't argue with myself.

But let's just enjoy the peace for now. :D

also, many Clinton supporters congratulated Obama and his supporters yesterday. didn't you support Clark last time around ? you must know how much it hurts when the candidate you supported so strongly doesn't do well.

I'm very happy for Obama and if he should get the nom I'll work for him as if he were my first choice. But...for the time being...Hillary is still my first choice. Of course we are disappointed but it would be foolish to give up. As it is foolish for the Obama team to think they have this all wrapped up.

44. per his "I win NH, I win the Presidency" quote
-- allegedly -- earlier today, I already think he's losing sight of the work needed to be done and believing his own hype that he's got this in the bag.

And, as a Hillary Supporter, I hope he continues to do that. She'll continue with her nose to the grindstone working to earn each vote while he's taking his much publicized, premature Victory Lap with his Advisers and, at the end of the day, we'll see who's left standing after Super Tuesday.

I'm betting on Experience over Hype.

last night and today and I still say Obama is nothing more then a modern day Bill Starbuck, aka Bill Smith, Bill Harley, Tornado Johnson and obama will promise us all the world, and he will bring rain. ( the rainmaker )Even gone as far as saying "Election theft won't be tolerated" Well hell, if obama says he's going to fight, just like Gore and Kerry?Edwards promised that they were going to fight, that's good enough for us - right? HRC supporters should just leave HRC's campaign now and join Obama. Not going to happen, cause Obama will not be our nominee.....Other then illinois I see no state obama can even begin to get the 2181 delegates to be the nominee but I do see HRC having enough no later then march 4th to be the nominee.....

They can't figure out what the next spin is going to be on their own.

The rest are just hiding, knowing they've made fools of themselves.

Honestly, I've been made more and more staunchly anti-Hillary over the season by the people here demanding absolute loyalty to her, smearing and attacking the others, then claiming innocence and that the others are supposedly the ones who are doing negative campaigning.

37. Edwards came in ahead of Clinton. Yet the media says, Clinton,
Obama, Clinton, Obama, Clinton, Obama. Edwards is not being given credit for spending 9 million bucks less than O and C. He came in second because of his message. The message will win the day. Gerhardt won Iowa in 2004. I don't think he was ever president. I do like Obama's message and I think it will come down to the meat of the matter and not the money. :dem:

40. Obama hasn't won the whole thing yet
And with the support of Wall Street, big pharma, big energy, the mainstream media (a subsidary of the aforementioned), and other assorted criminals in suits behind a Hillary nomination, I would be reluctant to call this race over.

I'm not saying anything bad about Clinton, but it just seems the Republicans and their powerful base are salivating at the thought of her getting the nomination because they see her as the most beatable. Yet, at the same time they want to keep her weak enough so that she barely wins the nomination, only to unleash their complete fury on her after she becomes the nominee.

That's a sore winner.

Congratulations to your candidate, his victory last night was very well deserved. But Iowa is only one state. The race is far from over.

FWIW, I'm not a Clinton supporter, but I find your gloating unnecessary. It does not add to the discourse here, it does not help your candidate, and it just makes you look like a pompous jerk.
