7. Good line -- I just hope it's hope and not hoap |

Hoap looks and smells like hope but tastes like an industrial product made to clean things.

9. Even with his voice 1/2 gone, Obama in the speech he just gave in New Hampshire..... |

Edited on Fri Jan-04-08 10:11 PM by FrenchieCat
has fired up and readying to go thousands of young and energetic voters in NH!
The guy is super effective; and you can easily tell that by all of the jealousy that one reads here at DU in reference to Obama. He's got some of the most progressive people endorsing him in New Hampshire, but when one reads the veiled "envy" threads here at DU, you'd think the man was a RW warmonger who sponsored a war or something!
It is pathetic, but its the turn outs that will change the minds of those who wished that their candidates was a 10% as inspirational and motivating as Obama is.
Now, I see what some of the haters must of thought of MLK back in his days.
Whoot! :headbang:

10. 'Inspirational and motivating' |
|
is all good---but I, myself, look for other things in 'my' candidates, as well.
Not to diss you, but look back at gwblivet when he was running---he was the 'regular guy'--the man of the people.
see where that got us.
I'm thinkin' that I might not agree with everything Clinton says, but I 'know' what she's done and where she's been and her ideas and goals over the years---not someone just 'inspirational and motivating'--who might not have any real way of getting the US where it needs to go.
Actually, I kind of take offense at your statement about MLK. Completely different analogy, I'm thinkin'
