3. I think the ads were confined to the west coast, very fundie area, |
|
first one I've seen on the east coast side. Of course, my tv doesn't come on much except for KO and a good movie.

4. Was it the horrible one with all the BAD TERRORIST people? |
|
I almost choked on my dinner the first time I saw that. All these pictures of Muslims (back to even 1979) interspersed with pictures of the burning wreckage of the WTC.
It was awful. Republicans are allowed to campaign down here. They only lost half their delegates.

5. hasn't he been darkening your door for quite some time? |
|
I thought the media said he had chosen to sidestep the early small state primaries in order to focus on FL.

6. He's betting the house on Florida. |
|
I still think that's a damned risky thing to do. That means he'll be banking on January 29th. That's an ETERNITY away in politics. If the wins get spread out and romney wins Michigan (hey, he's a whole two to three points ahead there as of tonight, as I heard a few moments ago) then they'll all go forward with nobody having an edge. In effect, they'll be starting from scratch each time, going into the big ones.
I'm kinda doubting that romney will get Michigan. I'd be surprised if he did. If he's only got a two to three point lead NOW, with the momentum going other ways, I don't think he'll be able to capitalize on that much. Watch john mccain in the next several days. What mitt has as an advantage is BIG BUCKS. mccain's running on empty. He may get an infusion because he now looks like sort of a winner. And he may be pushing his "Comeback Kid" stuff. And that may be appealing. Especially since those who were holding out hopes for him, and were probably pretty discouraged and looking around for Plan B, now still have a viable Plan A. They'll likely be back, in force, and with gusto. He may get quite a bump out of this. And if he gets one all the way into Michigan, romney's finished.
