Which presidential candidate would help win most Senate/Congress seats? |
|
I think that any of the three possible Democratic candidates would have a chance of winning the presidency, (although sadly whoever the Democrats nominate I'd probably bet on a Republican victory).
But there are three branches of government in the US. If you were up for election for a Senate or Congress seat in 2008, whose coat-tails would you be most enthusiastic about riding on?

voted in congress for 6 years and played obstructionists in the last year, I think we could hve a frog as the Dem candidate andthey'd still vote to replace most of the Pug congress critters.

3. Fuel is through the roof. We could run a chihuahua and have coat tails. |

If I had to guess, I'd say Obama. However, much as I dislike the DLC, they did get some of their candidates through in 2006, though I prefer to think that Dean had more to do with it, not to mention the public is finally waking up to the Big Lie that is the Orwellian Repuke Party.
Edwards? I just don't know. Might have coattails, but I just don't know.
