If leading Democrats wasn't like herding cats we could rock Michigan
All Michigan Dems should vote for Romney.

Dem votes don't count, but it's an open primary so Dems who cross-over can cast a meaningful vote.

If McCain loses Michigan to Romney he probably wouldn't get the nomination, and McCain would run 7-8 points stronger than Huckabee or Romney in the GE.

Dems have the votes to fuck the pugs royally in Michigan... even 10% of the Dem vote would do it. But it won't happen.

1. I'mm with you all the way
But if we would wind up with Romney, unless we nominate Edwards we would go to defeat, the religious right (some would vote with Edwards) but with other dem, all the religious right would run out to vote for Romney in order to defeat Roe V Wade... However I would like to see the dem. re register and give the republican a replay of what they have been doing

3. I sincerely believe the Mormon thing hurts with RW Christians
How else to explain Huckabee's ascendancy?

5. Oh it does. There's no need to think too hard about this.
Evangelicals and conservative Catholics cannot stand Mormons. Period.

2. Vote Thompson!
Get him some much needed momentum so we can run against a McCain/Thompson ticket!

McCain/Thompson: It's time for a nap.

4. But we couldn't make Thompson win
That would require about 80% of the Dem vote

6. Why not vote Alan Keyes?
Now, there's a candidate I would like to stick the Republicans with. Romney is too dangerous. I don't want him within sniffing distance of the Oval Office. He and Giuliani are the two neocon candidates, and it's too risky to follow your strategy.

7. Let the dimwits sort out their pathetic candidates
Short of Diebold, they aren't in come 2009.

Mind you, I suspect we will have a diebolded election...but apparently the Dems in Congress have "more important business" to attend to.

I am all about fucking with the Republicans. I really want us to run against Romney/Giuliani. McCain will be the toughest to beat.

we could pick up 3 electoral votes (kinda chilly this time of year) :scared:

15. I agree for another reason.
Electing Romney causes more FUD in the puke race, and that's a great thing.

18. Hardly voter fraud
The rules say I can vote in the Republican primary.

The fact that there is no live Democratic primary makes voting in a real primary more attractive.

I cast my ballot for who I sincerely want to win the Republican primary.

Hard to see that as "fraud." It's a straight-up exercise for a person's voting rights.

In this case, the exercise of my right under the laws of Michigan to express that I want Romney to win the Michigan primary, which I do.

I don't like it when pugs do it, but so what? I don't like it when pugs vote at all, for anybody. But the fact I don't like it doesn't make it fraud.
