Does anyone know who Charlie Rangel is supporting?
I consider him the sharpest Democrat out there known for fighting for African Americans. Who is he supporting?

14. I think you would be suprised at how many things Proud2BAmurkin
doesn't know about the candidates (at least that's how he posts). ;)

If I hadn't know whom Rangel had endorsed beforehand, I would have figured it out from his "innocent" question. Oh, and any African Americans out there supporting Obama are not "the sharpest Democrat out there known for fighting for African Americans" by definition.

13. And I doubt LGTB groups who endorsed Obama would support homophobes.
Or do you think they would?

19. What LGTB group has endorsed Obama
Seriously. I have heard of several endorsing Clinton. Haven't heard of any for Obama (except for Andrew Sullivan who is also a Republican).

26. Ok, so far as it goes. But...
It's just a group of Obama supporters who got together form a group. I can't even tell whether they're mostly gay. They just say they're "concerned about gay issues." Nothing wrong with that, of course, but not what I had in mind.

Have any established GLTB groups, newpapers, or magazines endorsed him?

7. Does anyone know who Charlie Rangel is supporting?
Rangle is urging a non-committal vote by voters in the Michigan primary over voting for the only candidate (Hillary) on the ballot.

I guess its safe to say he's not endorsing Hillary.

Edited on Fri Jan-11-08 04:20 PM by DJ13
Yeah, you're right.

The article where I read that mentioned that idea talked about both Conyers and Rangle, so I mixed them up.

I should have known that old Charlie was too DNC to think independantly.

You had better tell Conyers to rewrite his own blog then........

Initial Thoughts on Obama's Victory
Submitted by JC on January 5, 2008 - 7:37am.

Some of you may know that I endorsed Obama early in the campaign. I think his victory speech in Iowa shows why many have taken so strongly to his message.

12. You would be wrong
He has most emphatically endorsed Hillary.

If Charlie Rangel is telling people not to vote for a candidate in Michigan, it is because he (unlike most of the people at DU apparently) is honest enough to say what he really thinks is in the best interest of the party and nation, regardless of whether it benefits him or his candidate.
