Rasmussen daily graph for 1/13/08 - Clinton and Obama up 1, Edwards down 2
Really depressing.

(These graphs are all contained on one Web page at http://www.dvorkin.com/rastrack.html)

(Pretend that the 10 and 20 lines are actually 0. Does anyone know how to make Excel label different parts of the axis differently?)

1. Your Work Is Great But Rasmussen Is Becoming More And More Of An Outlier
It's too bad he is the only pollster that updates his poll daily...

At some point, perhaps other pollsters will start doing daily polling and Pollingreport.com will maintain graphs of all of them.

I still assume that Rasmussen is internally consistent, so that trends these graphs show are real trends, even if the actual numbers should be higher or lower.

2. Edwards is paying the price of focusing most of his energy on Iowa
and not even coming close to winning it. After watching 2004, I would have thought that was a good strategy. This year is different in that he and Obama are running against someone who has the name recognition, $ and machine of an incumbent.
