Edited on Sun Jan-13-08 11:42 AM by wndycty
. . .she would not let him get the question out. She is not addressing the question about Clyburn or Donna Brazille, she is defending the attack on Obama. THIS WILL NOT GO OVER WELL!

ON EDIT: America has a short attention span, the fact that she spent the 1st 13 minutes of the the show on the defensive about Obama is not good for her. Most Americans do not watch MTP, but the press will pull snippets and clip of her shouting at Russert will be played far and wide.

ON SECOND EDIT: Its now 16 minutes in and she is still be asked about Barack. . .LOL Short attention span folks, short attention span. The more she talks about Obama the better.

ON THIRD EDIT:: At 41 minutes in she is still being forced to talk about Obama.

Edited on Sun Jan-13-08 03:05 PM by TankLV
and actually COMPLIMENTS the man - repeatedly - over russTARD's interrupting her!

Good god, obamabots can't even take or recognize a COMPLIMENT when they get one!

Simply, truly amazing...

It seems to me that Hillary spent half her time DEFENDING and COMPLIMENTING obama with russTARD...but that's aparenly not good enough for the obamabots...

oh - and there was NO shouting at all...play a video of it and see for yourselves...

pig Russert wouldn't finish the enire quote, pathetically, and desperately trying to define the words to fit his anti-Hillary rhetoric. Typical that HRC haters refuse, in a repug sort of way, to accept this crap without question, and without absorbing the entire context of the statement Bill Clinton made. Obama supporters in particular have a strange way of confusing fighting back for desparation. Typical. Thanks.

10. A simply don't take anyone seriously who uses the term "Hillary haters."
Preferring one candidate does not equate to hating another. Until the "Hillary obsessives" (fair enough?) come to grips with that, every time they use the term "Hillary hater" it just sounds like childish whining. Accept the fact that some people do dislike her, just as some dislike Obama or Kucinich or whomever. But stop with this "hate" nonsense.

27. There are dislikers and there are haters
Some are capable of accepting the wild unbelievable stories about Hillary. That's a sign of hatred. And the language and names they call her! They express something stronger than dislike.

6. This whole Hillary-a-thon this morning is disgusting
Edited on Sun Jan-13-08 11:16 AM by Atman
I'm watching Tweety now...it's "official," apparently, the only two people running for the Dem nomination are Obama and Clinton. He even said so..."This race is between Clinton and Obama."

I wish some fancy-pants lawyer had the nerve to bring a class-action suit calling for GE to divest itself of NBC. There is no way a major defense contractor should be allowed to own the media/set the agenda for the voters.

Oh, and the other observation; how they all just joke about the polls now. Can't quote 'em, because as Chris said "We haven't perfected them yet." YET? They were perfected for years before Bush came along, now they can't even seem to get them accurate enough to predict what they're families want for dinner. This is a very dark period for democracy, no doubt.

-snip-
Clinton was extremely assertive, at several points talking over Russert as he tried to finish a question.

“Tim, let me — let me stop you right there,” she said at one point. “No, wait a minute. ... You did not give the entire quote.”

Candidates are criticized for letting Timmy control the message. He takes quotes out of context and when candidates let him go on and on they are labeled weak.

Hillary wouldn't let him manipulate the interview. Good for her.

I haven't decided on who I am voting for. I like both Obama and Hillary. I thought she did a good job on MTP. I didn't see any shouting either.

26. Kucinich
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton say they are for change however they support many policies of the Bush administration. There Platforms are overwhelmingly similar, and include many issues most politically educated people would understand to be a more conservative stance.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wt0iTWQxykQ

Kucinich has been blocked out of the media and excluded from many debates, it is up to us to educate our selfs on the candidates and not allow the media to foce feed us lies

49. I don't EVER feel sorry for Russert
He did his usual "gotcha" technique, giving part of the story, selectively quoting, and she very firmly countered him. Of COURSE she talked over him...she did exactly what Democratic supporters have been crying for for years. Defend yourself, strongly and capably, when you're unfairly challenged. It's one thing to ask hard questions of a candidate...they all should be subject to those. It's quite another to use a "gotcha" technique that Russert is well known for, especially on Democratic candidates.

I hope ALL our candidates will do the same thing to Russert and his ilk.
