A quick question for the Obama supporters ......
.... if Clinton wins the nomination, what will you do come November?

(Edwards supporters, you've shown yourselves to be reasonable. I expect if he doesn't win the nomination, you guys are still with the Democrat, whoever it is.)

2. I will vote for the Dem nominee, whoever it is
They are all 100 times better than any of the rethugs. And we can't let another rethug win the WH this time.

3. Absolutely. I will support the nominee.

And if John Kerry follows through on his statement this morning - and I'm sure he will - I expect I will even be enthusiastic by the time November rolls around. And enthusiasm about voting for Hillary is something I've had a hard time imagining, for quite a while now.

4. This same thread is made every 48 hours, why not search for one of those?
We don't need more loyalty oaths.

9. You're right
Edited on Sun Jan-13-08 09:21 PM by Husb2Sparkly
We just need loyalty. If you think not supporting the official Democratic party candidate running against the Republicans is a good thing, you're a bit unhinged.

ETA .... if this thread is made every 48 hours, maybe the question ought to be a simple "Why?"

12. The why is quite obvious....
Hillary's supporters like to stir up the hornets nest.

As for me, I'm voting for the most progressive candidate on the ballot.

Not arguing with you ...... just saying .........

There's two sides to (almost) every story.

6. I always said I'd vote for Clinton, but...
If she keeps conducting her campaign this way, I'll either vote independent or write-in my candidate of choice.

My mother voted for me last election (didn't want to vote for Bush, but couldn't bring herself to vote for Kerry), so maybe I'll return the favor this time around.

14. The NV stuff is really disgusting
I'd rather see the party stand together against these voter suppression tactics. Iowa was bad enough, we need to put an end to it now. If the party does nothing, then I question my loyalty to this party.

15. toss down my swords and vote for her
I'd imagine I won't dislike her as much in a few months. I'm in the middle of the 'Hillary is the opponent' mode.

I'll get over it.

16. Oh, I'll vote, no doubt.
However, I may vote for the downticket and leave the presidential ballot blank.

But then again, ask me four months from now and I may have another answer such as vote for her.

22. Looks like this is the wrong site to ask that question.
Too many Clinton haters on this site in 2008. In 2004 we had Dean supporters, Clark supporters, Edwards supporters and Kerry supporters and lots and lots of heated arguing, But there were NO Dean haters, Edwards haters, Clark and Kerry haters and i believe all of us voted for Kerry except for a few Naderites.

If the readers of these 2 companion posts by Stinky will notice...the Hillary supporters ALL said they'd vote for Obama. Not a single one said they wouldn't. However, there were quite a few Obama supporters that wouldn't vote for Hillary. One could conclude the Hillary supporters were more civil, forgiving and patriotic who care more about what happens to our country than they do party affiliation. The FAR left have always been a divisive force in our party. We Dems don't stick together like the Rethugs do...which is the ONLY thing they do right. Some people around here would cut there nose off to spite their face. It's sad but true. Thank goodness MOST Obama supporters would vote for Hillary if she were nominated. As what's her face would say, "It's a good thing."

but I still strongly think that Obama would be a much better candidate AND president

32. Happily donate, work, and vote for Hillary Clinton. And I think your premise is off.
Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 12:38 AM by Occam Bandage
I have seen at least a dozen posts from Edwards supporters claiming they'll not vote for Clinton, Obama, or both. I've seen fewer by Obama or Clinton supporters saying the same.
