Poll question: Are you participating in your first national election this year? |
|
Just wanted to get a sense of where DU stands on first timers. When did you start participating? I would have gone back further but ran out of lines...

2. This is the most I've ever been involved on this level. |
|
But I have been involved in local Congressional races, and many years ago I made calls for Gary Hart.

14. I have vivid memories of the day he was assassinated. I thought what a tragic waste but his legacy |
|
has moved him into the ranks of those who changed history.
Even Repugs strive to emulate him.
I've lived long enough, survived a heart attack that left me dead, and recovered to reflect on those accomplishments of the rare individuals that shape history and ignore their transgressions.
JFK is one such person.

11. Technically, this is my first national election |
|
it's the first time that I've been old enough to vote, anyway. But I helped out on the Kerry-Edwards campaign in '04.
