The "We stand behind Barack, Dennis, Hillary and John" thread.
Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 10:37 PM by Katzenkavalier
Regardless of the fierce primary contest we are facing right now (c'mon, we all knew it was going to be extremely rough, but only the strongest survive), Barack, Hillary and John are our guys, and the best hope the country has in the face of the Republican menace embodied by the current president and his clones in their primaries.

Relax for a moment, put on your "I'm a Democrat" badge for a second and say loud and clear: "I STAND BEHIND BARACK, DENNIS, HILLARY AND JOHN!"

23. Yes, yes, yes! Because they're all progressives. Because...
Because Barack Obama speaks eloquently and brings people together to support progressive causes.

Because Hillary Clinton's record is fantastic - and she gets the details right.

Because John Edwards keeps driving the party's agenda for progressive economics (Krugman).

Because Dennis is Dennis.

And... to add one - because Senate Majority Leader Harry Read commissioned the intelligence review on Iran last fall, which broke the back of Bushco's plans to bomb Iran

24. I'm still voting for Bill Richardson in our primary.
And I'll vote for our nominee, no matter who it is.
The WhiteHouse is quite a bit more important than the tempests in this teacup.

25. I don't buy into "group think" ploys.
In-group vs. Out-group bias is a very strong mechanism in human psychology. It is the well spring of racism, sexism, nationalism, as well as religious conflict. It also happens to be what the Democratic party and Republican party uses in order to string you along without actually solving the problems that you want them to solve.

I'm not a DEMOCRAT. I'm just a liberal independent progressive thinker. The party does not OWN me or my thoughts.

27. Of that there should be no question.
If anyone didn't learn from Nader, perhaps a review of France's recent LePen scare might help.
