Prediction: Concerning Al Gore and Barack Obama |
|
If Senator Obama wins both Nevada and South Carolina, look for an endorsement from Al Gore. Write it down.

Super Tuesday could very well wrap up the nomination. If Obama wins in Nevada and SC, this will be the time for a Gore endorsement, complete with joint appearances leading up to Super Tuesday. If it does, in fact, influence Super Tuesday and Obama wins big in the big states on that day - it's over.

Al Gore is not interested in party politics. It interferes with his ability to promote the environmental cause. I do not see him endorsing during these primaries.

7. Most likely he is done with this aspect of party politics. |
|
He will work on his environmental campaign. He will not make any primary endorsements.

8. Someone of his stature still wants to be a king-maker |

Al Gore will definitely endorse during the primary. I think after a Nevada and SC win, he'll endorse and campaign with Obama ahead of Feb 5th Super Tuesday and seal the deal for Senator Obama. Result: King-maker and a lot of influence with the nominee and next President of the United States.

13. I really think he's gotten past that |
|
I think 2003 cured him. If there's a clear leader, he might, but otherwise I don't think it would help him to get back into the political mire.

11. I've already said the same thing. It will come if he wins both and just before California's primary. |

Obama clearly will win South Carolina in a very big way now.
And it appears that Obama is close to winning Nevada.
But I agree that the test will be these two.
democrat2thecore, we see it the same way.
