How to beat Romney in the General |
|
I'm not sure he's going to be the candidate, but watching him talk about jobs in Michigan just about made me hurl.
Whenever he talks about creating jobs, the only thing the Democratic candidate will have to do is remind America that Mitt made his fortune, his CONSIDERABLE fortune, buying companies, splitting them up, firing people and selling off whatever was left.
Mitt is single-handedly responsible for the loss of THOUSANDS of jobs.

5. No, no . . . McCain is going to be easier to beat. Anyone under 40 is going to look at |
|
McCain and then look at their kids and/or their retirement plans and see NOTHING but WAR DEBT.
And don't say people under 40 don't vote; this year is VERY different. I see and hear the difference every day and Romney can capitalize $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on that difference by hiring all of the people he wants.

6. Romney is easier since he has NO cross-over appeal at all. |

7. McCain has cross-over appeal? |
|
Oh I get it, your're thinking about Joe Lieberman.

9. Lieberman is more Republican than Chuck Hagel. |
|
I know of some weak kneed Democrats who support him. I can't see them voting Romney.

11. I wonder how close the margin is going to be. |
|
It's a bummer to need to plan for these little splinter groups.

8. Romney would have to take a VP that would give him cross-over appeal, or |
|
his general-election prospects would be doomed. I think he's doomed no matter what--I don't see him winning. Just not likable enough.

3. He also says US has the best Healthcare in the world. And, those who |
|
aren't insured are making a choice to remain uninsured, and it is costing the responsible, insured ones.
Healthcare alone could sink mittshit in the General.
Along, with doubling Guantanamo... And, "It's only torture if we admit it..." And, he is uninspiring. Pukes would stay home.
I hope he gets the nod.

10. I'm glad he won in Michigan. |
|
Like Kos was saying, it's good to have him in the race spending money on attack ads against the other Repubs. Let them fight it out nicely. Hopefully they will disgust some people.
I also like the fact that Repubs are not too keen on their candidates. Fundies trust Mitt about as far as they can sling a piano.
