Why Obama praised Reagan (See Michigan exit polls) |
|
I think we shouldn't place a lot of blame on Obama for referring to Reagan the way he did today. Yesterday in Michigan, Hillary Clinton won among moderates as well as white men. Obama knows his support among blacks is now solid and huge, so he wants to appeal to these groups. It's simple political strategy and I think it will work to his advantage.

One needs the republicans to win, the other "claims" a win when her rivals weren't on the ballot, how sad.
Seems like Edwards is the only one that doesn't need to play such games! His message speaks for itself, and when the more the public gets to hear him, the more they like him!

If we're no longer blaming folks for saying or doing things as long as those acts are politically expedient it will be a great time-saver in GDP

7. Ironically, Clintons are both essentially Reagan Asswipes, just watered down. Bill continued |
|
privitizing government, allowing Military Industrial Complex to grow. dismantling welfare state.
The main difference is the Clintons were willing to throw some crumbs to working people.
But they have never and will never challenge the basic power structure.
And while Bill Clinton gets some credit for balancing budget let's remember America's economy benefitted greatly from the Silicon/Tech bubble.
And it was Clinton who allowed the HEAD Reagan Asswipes to get away uninvestigated and unindicted.

12. Yes, he did. Public assistance was unecessary because "trickle down" economics was in play... |
|
the homeless and the poor were constantly getting trickled on by the rich.
