My humble opinion on the Reagan thing |
|
has always been that we should not be minimizing our party and its ideals in a primary. I felt that Obama had done that with the excessess of the 60's and 70's line, and just the fact he spoke on camera about how great a politician Reagan was and then he turned into a nasty attack on Bill C. We are in a primary and if we can't build up the party now and look to the last 2 term president with some grace then we suck and what independents want to vote for that? Especially when Obama's whole platform reads like HRC's who he is attacking.
I never bought into the Obama likes Reagan or agrees with Reagan or any of that.
I was not always so humble on this issue but my opinion has not changed. It was a mistake in my opinion and a low ball attack from Obama.
10-4
over and out.

5. While I Like Obama's Background in Activist Organizations |
|
he really seems to have bought into the idea that candidates need to adopt the viewpoint of the power elite. The bombing Pakistan comments, the problem with social security comments, now the Reagan and "party of ideas" comments. This is very unsettling.

6. It is one of the main reasons I have firmly turned against Obama. |
|
The beginning was his snide comment to Clinton about her "likability" during a debate.
