Rasmussen daily graph for 1/20/08 - Clinton and Edwards unchanged, Obama up 2 |
(These graphs are all contained on one Web page at http://www.dvorkin.com/rastrack.html) (Pretend that the 10 and 20 lines are actually 0. Does anyone know how to make Excel label different parts of the axis differently?) Rasmussen links: Data in tabular form Discussion

1. Cool. Only a small uptick, but we'll take it. |
Next few days should be more telling though.

2. could be the Bill issue |
that blowup w/ the reporter and his other bellyaching probably has many wondering about his role. hopefully we'll start getting data on how badly hillary would lose to mccain due to the independent voter factor and that could swing some towards obama.

5. Thanks for your continued work on this, DavidD -- and I have a question - |
about the light blue "All Others" line -- why is it still up around 12% or so? The only others left are Kucinich, and maybe Gravel. Does Kucinich really have 10% or so support in the Ras polls? Or are many people still saying they will vote for Richardson, Biden, etc, not knowing they are out of the race?

6. I calculate that number |
It's 100% - the three top ones combined. The numbers for the three top ones are presumably rounded off by Rasmussen. Roundoff might be one factor. The others presumably also includes "no preference."

8. Thanks! That explains it very well - |
there will always be some "no preference" people (or "don't knows.") I really do appreciate the work you continue to do on this, especially since I gather you are an Edwards supporter, rather than a Hillarite, or an Obaman.

10. Yes, I'm an Edwards supporter |
(I wish "Edwardian" had caught on. It sounds so classy.)
So I wish the lines on those graphs looked different, but I still want to know what the lines look like.
