My states primary isn't till after Super Tuesday....(a small rant) |
|
Maryland's Primary is Feb 12th a week after. I'm getting really irritated with the MSM suggesting that the nominations will be locked up by Super Tuesday. I suppose its POSSIBLE but still. It really frustrates people like me, who would like to have a say in the primary to hear this shit! And I am afraid that it WILL discourage primary voters. Its also possible I suppose that the candidate I would like to vote for (Edwards) might withdraw right after if he hasn't won anything. I feel really disenfranchised right now. I wish there was some better way we could do this. I know I can't be the only person in a post Super Tuesday primary that feels this way either. Well whatever happens I will still cast my vote for Edwards but I WILL vote for whomever we nominate, even if I have to hold my nose to do it.

2. This year all the predictions have gone out the window. |

So I'll step up and predict that the candidates will be fighting over every single delegate right until one of them has a pluralty at the convention.

I'm used to my opinion being declared irrelevant months beforehand.

7. Discourage post 2/5 primary voters? Nah.... |
|
of course, it's part of the media strategy to fuck with the people. 2/12 is not irrelevant. 5/20 means KY and OR are a whole lot more irrelevant, IMHO. You go vote! :patriot:

9. You know..thats a very good question |
|
I suspect it all comes down to something called "tradition". All states are NOT created equal here. Look at what happened to Michigan when it got "uppity" and moved up the date of its primary, causing the DNC to penalize them. There is probably an explanation on why this is so, but I don't really know what it is myself to tell the truth.

13. that means it will be even more important because 2/5 won't decide the nomination |
|
Hillary nor Obama will sweep the 2/5 primaries. It makes these later primaries even my own in Wisconsin more important.
