I'm with you, but I don't see a Democrat running who has the spine to promise such a thing. The Democratic Leadership put the contempt vote on hold today in the interest of "bipartisanship." :puke:

I wanted to vote for Edwards or Obama, a candidate who is "electable". But unless they openly acknowledge the criminality of the Bushes, condemn it and swear to hold the Bushies accountable, they are just going to continue the system, I fear.

they are out of office? I do not know of any rules that apply to a president after he leaves office except to accuse him of a crime like murder.

Also, I'm not sure about this, but I think a president can be impeached when he's out of office. It amounts to just a censure, but it would still be symbolically important.
