The same corporate media that pilloried B.C. has pushed Hillary as the Dems' prime candidate. They seem to have done all they can to promote her as first choice and Obama second while blacking out Edwards. One has to ask why.
I also feel McCain's candidacy has been brokered. He sold his soul and supported Bush's policies, and the quid pro quo is, they're giving him a decent shot at it, which has been strengthened in reality and in their own thinking by the fact that, since a lot of Repub. voters are sick of fundamentalists and spendthrift neocons and long for the old-fashioned conservatism, McCain prolly has the best chance to win.
Can't prove any of this. But although I don't express my gut feelings here often, they've had a pretty great batting average.
