Hillary Clinton enjoys a nineteen percentage point lead over Barack Obama in Missouri’s Democratic Presidential Primary. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of the state shows Clinton earning 43% of the vote while Obama attracts 24%. John Edwards trails Obama by six points and is supported by 18% of the state’s Likely Democratic Presidential Primary Voters.

Clinton leads by 28-percentage points among women but just seven points among men.

The former First Lady is viewed favorably by 82% of those likely to vote. Obama earns positive reviews from 69%.

5. Where has she NOT started off with a huge lead?
Started off with a huge lead in Iowa: Lost
Started off with a huge lead in NH: Won by 2 points
Started off with a huge lead in NV: Won by 5 points
Started off with a huge lead in SC: Going to lose

Once Obama and Edwards start campaigning there and in all the other places where she has a huge lead, these polls will narrow like they always do.

8. the thing is Obama can't charm the masses with his cult of personality in the Feb 5 states
Retail politics doesn't work in these states. You have to have substance. Hillary is going to pretty much run the table on him. Mark my words.

15. That is a good point
It will be interesting to see where Obama goes after his huge win tomorrow. Does he focus on the Southern states? California? Midwest? A dizzying criss-cross of them all?

I think if he's smart, he'll split his time in between California and the delegate-rich Midwestern states like a Missouri.

20. Yep
While the nation is focused on the upcoming Democratic Primary in South Carolina, Hillary Clinton leads Barack Obama by fifteen percentage points in Alabama’s Democratic Presidential Primary.

It’s Clinton 43% Obama 28% and John Edwards a distant third at 16%.
