Bill's recent words were wrongly spun as racial, but today's comparing Obama to JJ are DESPICABLE |
|
For shame, Bill Clinton....

5. Look, I can partially defend him |

There is an advantage for Obama in SC if he holds the black vote. That is a fact! The disturbing part is the ease and the regularity that the clintons continue to bring this up.

7. The other comments were bad too |

Maybe you are not catching the code words. He is pushing the same buttons that Republicans push.
Pundits now saying that he "ut down the blunt instrument and picked up a chainsaw" over the Jackson comments.

9. I don't think there is anything malicious about his mentioning how... |

SC's black population has voted in the past when a black candidate runs for the White House. I'm not going to read any ill-intentions into what he's saying, either.
It appears that many black voters in SC (obviously not all) will vote for a black candidate over a white candidate. I don't think neither Bill nor anyone else claims that there's something "wrong" with that, but that it's just historically how it's been in SC.
Congrats, Barack... onward to Feb. 5, I say.

Winning there didn't mean Jackson could win everywhere. Its the same with Obama. The Clintons had demographics against them in South Carolina.
I'm sorry race has become a factor but the media keeps pushing it.
