Cheer up Hillary/Edwards people--here's a point that should make us ALL happy... |
|
In terms of sheer numbers of voters, haven't we beat the GOP in EVERY STATE the two parties have both had primaries in?
That's gotta be a good sign for anybody who wants to see a Democrat in the White House--especially since the GOP has had more candidates than we have in the race even from the start...Republicans just don't seem to want it as badly as we do.
If not even the threat of a Clinton, or a black man with a Middle-Eastern middle name, or John Kerry's "trial lawyer"-running mate is enough to motivate them to the polls to vote for their candidates...I feel pretty good about our chances in November no matter what.

3. The other thing is that the terrible tactics of the Clintons |
|
have failed so clearly here they will have to abandon them and return to the kind of campaign they had in NH

...no matter who started it, both Obama and Hillary have had to run negative campaigns to counteract the other.
I'm an Obama fan, but I hope they both cut it out and return to the relatively positive campaigns of late 2007.
And I hope Bill Clinton takes the advice of many and eases up a little on the red-faced finger-pointing stuff.

4. Damned straight, there can't be that many GOPs crossing party lines |

to foul up our primaries, not even in SC.
People in this country are PISSED OFF and they're getting out to show it.

to hand John McCain the Bible to swear on. Guys and gals the freepers aren't exactly in the mood to elevate McCain as their heir to Reagan. Conservatives like Rush maybe be freebasing oxycotin to gin up any excitement for Mr. Lincoln Savings and Loan.

Republicans have nothing if you aren't interested in old, white, conservative, men who have already failed at governing.
