Thank you, Hillary and Bill Clinton. You've made Barack a better candidate. |
|
If he wins the nomination, he will be a better candidate in the general, and a better President.
I can't for the life of me figure out why, after winning New Hampshire by showing Hillary's more "personal, likable" side, the Clintons decided to get down in the mud and drag Barack down there with them. With Barack's speech tonight, he has shown that he has lifted himself up to a more elevated level. The Clintons seem incapable of doing that.
And why did they decide after winning in New Hampshire on very strong support from women to switch strategy and move Bill to the forefront, as if Hillary wouldn't so much be the first woman President, but the first woman to have her husband put her there?
The Clintons seem to have become politically tone deaf.

9. You assume that that was "the lesson" from SC |
|
I really don't think there was one.
It was a foregone conclusion days ago that Hillary was going to come in second.
Negative campaigning will always work. Always has. Always will.
If you thought what you have seen up until now was negative, you ain't seen nothing yey.
They've been playing with Velvet Gloves on up until now.
This is national politics.

Seems that Hillary only showed her more personal side because she was scared shitless ~ as soon as things were looking up again, she forgot all about that humble moment. Big mistake.

12. I love your screen name. Bright Eyes is my favorite band nowadays. |
|
Yeah, it was ridiculous when Hillary suggested al Qaeda might test the new President on the first day, as if on "DAY 1" Hillary would be able to thwart an attack whereas Obama would not.

13. It's not even that so much. |

I fully expect a Republican to invoke al Qaeda to scare people into voting a certain way, but I'd never expect a Democrat to sink so low. And to use it against a fellow Democrat no less!
And Bright Eyes is truly a wonderful band. You obviously have good taste. :)

10. you can't figure out why, becasue it did not happen. |
|
Look at the facts. Obama started the race war to solidify the black SC vote. He was losing momentum after NH and then Nevada. And he took the chance. Waited for anything to distort and twist and USED RACISM to unite the black vote in SC. And it worked.
The only one who would be helped with the race war is Obama.
