For Obama it's "Remember New Hampshire" |
|
As I've said a bunch, I was in Charleston supporting Obama. There was a nervous optomism to the campaign. There was an awareness of the polls, but no one was buying in. A lot of the people in SC were volunteers in NH. They know what they did wrong. They were looking to avenge a loss. A few of the Obama people told me that many volunteers stopped campaigning in NH around 5PM because they thought they had won it. They had left for the "watch parties" without fully following up with all voters. Thye feel that this cost them 1%-3% which is close to the final difference in the night. In SC, it was "Remember NH." That's partly why Obama won as big as he did.

3. very small percentages of victory for clinton in NV and NH. Keep on working Obama! It pays off! |
|
Never EVER rest on your laurels!!!!
And clinton people, she won by only the slimmest of margins in those other states and Obama still had a one delegate lead on her going into SC.
Hillary was trounced in SC..not just beaten.
I'm not trying to be viscous, but all this horrible comments about black and white votes is really getting to be ridiculous. Common sense alone dictates that if one candidate got 55 percent of the vote and the remainder was split between two others, even if evenly split, the candidate with the highest tally drew from every demographic.
Be congratulatory as I recall many many obama supporters being when Hillary won previously.
This disappointment on the part of the Hillary camp is descending into racist comments and it needs to stop.
