Edwards Plans Tulsa VisitJohn Edwards' presidential campaign announced Saturday that the Democratic hopeful will be in Tulsa on Tuesday to discuss his plans to fight for working families and the middle class.
"Powerful entrenched interests are standing in the way of the change our country desperately needs," Edwards said in a press release. "We need to stand up for the middle class and American jobs before it's too late. Saving the middle class is going to be an epic battle, and that's a fight I was born for. I know that if we stand together, we can take back our country. We can build the One America we all believe in."
Edwards is scheduled to appear at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at the TWU No. 514 Hall, 11945 E. Pine St. The event is free and open to the public.
Edwards' visit will come one week before Oklahoma's Feb. 5 presidential primary.
