39. It is TRUE. HIllary is playing dirty politics and it is not becoming.
WE are tired of this garbage as Americans after the last 8 years. Expect more trouncings if she keeps it up. No, she will not be given a pass. She and her husband are behaving in a very undemocratic manner!!!

12. Then like Nevada...
..she should have decided she wanted this before hand. She could have at any point between the DNC made this decision and now, raised this issue. Just as she could have made an issue of the Caucus locations any time between when that was decided and when the union endorsed Obama. But now that she's been beaten in 2 primaries she's making an issue of it just like it was only after the union endorsed Obama that she made an issue of the caucus locations.

I could actually give a crap about Obama and his reach across the aisle triangulating and as far as I'm concerned their supporters can have at each other all they want.

But this is a shameless ploy if she pulls it. Of course the fact that she "agreed" to not campaign in those places yet still was the only one to keep her name on the ballot tells me that she planned on adhering to what the Democratic National Committe decided only as long as it either helped or didn't hurt her.

Go ahead. Yes, I know. I'm a republican/mysoginist/Obama supporter/sexist/evil/ignorant/whatever people who disagree with your candidate and/or their tactics are as oppossed to someone who can look at a situation, look at facts and make a decision on their own about how they feel about it.

35. Then why didn't he keep himself on the ballot in MI?
Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 02:07 PM by vi5
Hillary did. That's the only reason she won that state unequivically.

Edwards and Obama abided by the decision of the party's national committee and didn't campaign there and removed their names from the ballot. If either of the other two were planning on pulling something like this, common sense would have led me to believe that they would have planned accordingly by keeping their names on the ballot. So spin it all you want with what they would or wouldn't have done, the fact is that of the 3 leaders in this race only Hillary pulled this and clearly only Hillary planned on using this to her advantage.

Regardless of the fact that Clinton was absolutely justified in his action. They remember how he embarrassed them.

16. Good to hear she'll be wasting her time in a state the party says won't count
reminding everyone how desperate she is to spin Tuesday as a make-good on the SC disaster and how Team Restoration is ready to subvert the delegate process if need be.

Meantime, Obama will be campaigning somewhere relevant to Feb. 5.

Fine with me.

if you want to accuse someone of disenfranchisement, start with the Democratic Party.

32. Rubbish again

They campaigned in Michigan for uncommitted, thats not abiding by the ruling, Obama has ads running in Florida, thats not abiding by the rules.

So whatever way you look at it, the pledge was dead long ago. So Obama is playing victim again and its worn thin now.

Kucinich, gravel and dod all left their names on, no one attacked them. They orchestrated a campaign against Hillary in Michigan.

Amazing you think Florida does not matter, i remember losing 2 elections because it, or are that brainwashed already.

38. She can stay out of Michigan with her political manuvering.
I know she won our state, but that's because many in the rank-and-file vote for whomever their party chairs tell them to, and Granholm made it clear we were all to vote for Hillary. Screw that. She doesn't actually care about us up here or how we're dying as a state. All she wants is to manuver some win out of us without having to actually ask for it.
