The two Americas: Bill Clinton represents the American dream. Obama not so much.

John Edwards always talks about class divisions being as important as race divisions.

Bill Clinton's backstory is more insipring than Obama's. Obama was from a more priviliged background than Bill Clinton.

Obama always talks about the being a black candidate with a funny name but I would say Bill Clinton's hurdles to get to where he was were much higher. I don't think Clinton would have had the "audacity" to run for president after serving one year as governor nor would anyone support him if he tried it. Obama had one year in the senate before launching his campaign.

You couldn't get any more underprivileged than Bill Clinton growing up. It's a much more inspirational background story and he probably relates as well or better to the real struggles of black Americans.

7. FDR saved the world, JFK was a war hero. Obama isn't like either one.

5. Hillary is running for president, not Bill.
I agree, Bill's story is inspiring. And he had a lot of hell to deal with in order to get to where he is today. He's intelligent, he's funny, he's a brilliant mind with a knack for politics.

Unfortunately, he is not running for president. His wife is. And it is his wife's deficiencies that are being scrutinized. I suspect, if it were Constitutionally possible, Americans would probably return Bill to the White House. However, for whatever reason, that loyalty doesn't completely transfer to Mrs. Clinton.

Obama represents a new direction for many, which is appealing. People aren't looking at Hillary and seeing "visionary."

6. Yea.. American "Dream"...
While Clenis was being taken care of in the Oval office, I belive Obama was turning down a $200,000 a year job after just leaving the Harvard Law Review to go work for $12,000 a year on the south side of Chicago as a Community Organizer.

So, Obama wasn't "born" poor enough to earn this job? Bullshit. He actually did something more difficult then being born poor - he turned down a large sum of money, prestige and entitlement to work with the kinds of people he wants to help.

Pardon me while I don't bow down to Bill and all of his great work while he was screwing around on his wife.

of his fellow Harvard Grads did the same thing? Please.. just give the guy some effin credit.. you don't have to vote for him, but please stop building him into the rich black guy who never gave a shit about anyone poor.
