He said it was a "Dean" moment...

What is he talking about? Did anyone else hear anything about this?

Apparently it happened at a campaign rally today.

1. He keeps playing it, it's really annoying
Is he becoming a bandwagon jumper? It seems as if every time someone wins a primary, they suddenly attract a bandwagon. Why can't we continue to talk about issues? I feel as if I'm watching Campaign Survivor.

7. Ed Schultz Is A Despicable Man Without Core Beliefs
He used to be a right wing talk show host but he couldn't "break out" because Insanity, Bored, Limpballs, and Savaged Weiner owned that segment of the market so he went left...

It would be as if I became RepublicanSinceBirth because I thought being a Pug would be more lucrative...

2. Only if the MSM makes it thus
And only if you can't hear the crowd answer back.

That was so unfair, Dean's directional mic didn't pick up the crowd he was yelling over.

3. So what?
The media keep waiting on any of candidates to have a "Dean moment." They will force it to be, even if it's not.

I see nothing wrong with someone yelling "You with me? You with me?" at a campaign rally. I'd be disappointed if the candidate did NOT try to fire up his or her supporters.

4. Ok, I'll say this...
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 04:00 PM by TwoSparkles
I heard Hillary speak and it was obvious that she was speaking lower and with more force
than usual. It was jarring.

I don't begrudge her for doing this. I see it as a tactic. However, I will say that
her gruff, low, very loud speech was an attempt to overshadow--or at least make herself
psychologically parallel with the Teddy Kennedy speech that was given today.

I'm not saying that she was trying to sound LIKE Ted Kennedy, but she was trying to
give a speech that exuded a sense of command and force that was on par with Kennedy's
speech.

Clearly--and there is no dispute about this, the entire tone and tenor of her speech
shifted dramatically.

She sounded like she was sorta...screaming and growling at the same time. Scrowling?

Is this a major issue? Heck no.

17. You ARE sarcastic, right? RIGHT???
The "Dean scream" itself was the culmination of MSM changing designated loser to GOP in 2004. It had been Dean, but they made a deal with Kerry - before any vote was cast - so dean started to be maligned.
A cautionary tale for Obama & supporters. It's only temporary.

Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 04:03 PM by sfam
Dean made that speech while really introducing himself to the public. Hillary did that years ago. Time and time again in fact. Love her, hate her, or being unsure about her, EVERYONE has heard of and thought about Hillary. She can't really have a Dean moment.

Besides, the only news today will be of the Kennedy speech, so if she did bad today, she chose a good day to do it on.

They will take a snippet from a Kennedy or a Byrd speech and try to portray them as frothing at the mouth lunatics....

Shultz would be joining them but they owned that niche so he transformed himself from a right wing gas bag to a pseudo left wing one...

I don't know whether to be happy or sad that they own him so badly... What's worse ? a real Fascist? or a faux, ersatz liberal?
