My Mind is made up... Caroline Kennedy was the tipping factor
for me...

I mean if she doesn't know greatness when she see's it, what chance do we mear mortals have of identifying a truly great candidate when we see one...

Not to denigrate her at all, but I find it kind of silly to hear commentators weigh in on the effect Caroline Kennedy's endorsement will have for Obama...

Lord, if Caroline Kennedy can sway people to vote, perhaps we get what we deserve...

BTW, I was leaning toward Obama even before I heard that Caroline Kennedy had anointed the Junior Senator from Illinois...

He has racked up an impressive number of people behind him, the kind of people that can really help him through the transition as well as offer guidance when he leans to far right...

It looks as if my guy, Johnny E, is, to me at least, just the right candidate at just the wrong time...

It seems the country wants some kind of messianic leader and not someone who has articulated a new way for America to go as we face an uncertain future...

Hope, Change and a new beginning...

Folks I have heard it all before...

Let's hope this time it turns out better...

1. I have to admit...
She has considerable gravitas and intelligence on her side...

Plus she has stayed out of partisan politics...

We shall see, won't we?

K&R

This is very suitable for journalizing, methinks...

I've heard talk about JE for Attorney General...

That sure works for me!

2. Hey, it's better than being swayed by a handshake snub!
At least Caroline made a nice speech.

4. Good luck to you.
Barack has the governor, the Kennedys and Kerry.

No excuses in Massachusetts, eh. :)

I care who anyone else supports.I will not support style over substance.i will not support Obama.I am with Edwards until the end and I could care less about endorsements. If Edweards is not on the ballot, I will write him in.I think he is the only real Democrat in this race.I will not vote for a corporatist Democrat if George Washington himself came back and endorsed him.

10. This was definitely the tipping point for me as well
Two things:

1. Apparently, it was Caroline's kids who pushed her over the edge. Apparently, it was also Claire McCaskill kids who also convinced her to support Obama.

2. I am only 34, so the Kennedy presidency predates me. What I have, though, is a connection to it by proxy. To see my parents and their peers talk so fondly about the Kennedys is to feel a strong emotional connection to something I did not even experience first hand.

Caroline's endorsement in the NY Times was really jarring, in a positive way.
