Follow up on the View thread, Whoopi lies about Handshake debacle

I know lots of ppl are tired of these threads but I want to get some geniune opinions so I'll keep it short.

I think its interesting that many ppl don't get their news from "the news". I checked and The View gets about 3.5 mil viewers a day. Like it or not shows like this have alot of influence over some voters. Ok, so I've not been watching The View often but I happened to catch it today. Whoopi picked up the handshake snub and said Hillary reached out to offer her hand to him and he turned away. She blasted Obama as being "unclassy" and "petty" while Hillary was "strong" and "courageous". I think its outrageous that she lied because she was too stupid or lazy to read all the facts and misconstrued everything. The audience seemed stunned. If I were the Obama campaign, I would issue a statement of some sort to correct this. I don't know if they follow these things...anyway I'm going to email them.

She is a comedian and makes no attempt to fact check.

She is an equal opportunity basher.

One of her regular comments is that she is against the "death tax". Two things about that - she uses the Republican term for estate/inheritance tax and given her comments she clearly has no idea the estate size on which it becomes a factor. In other words, she really isn't all that informed.
