1,936 days and still no apology from Hillary regarding IWR vote |
|
That is the big difference between her and Edwards. At least he owned up to it. I would vote for him in a second. What we don't need is another president that thinks they are infallible.

19. Okay, I'll say it first; Obama had the foresight NOT to support the war |
|
That's all I need.
The biggest mistake in this countries history, and he had the wisdom and foresight and intelligence to NOT support it.
I do commend Edwards for his apology. That shows class and humility.
Either of them would make FINE presidents.

4. If Hillary runs against McCain, he can't use it against her. That's |
|
the only significance it has in the election anymore, except for the "progressives" who would either vote Green or not vote anyway.

5. Biggest reason why I can't support her. She will not admit she made a mistake. |
|
She comes up with every justification in the world but say she was wrong? No. There's a video of a meeting she had with Code Pink right before the bombs fell. They begged her to help stop the inevitable. She stood there, smiling, and said Saddam needed to be removed and talked about his WMDs. Then she said "I have talked to people I trust and believe we are doing the right thing".
She can't take those words back, ever.

8. Everyone in the country knew it was a vote for war but her...this was a political decision |
|
And a bad one at that. She knew better. She's too smart not to have.

9. While she listened to Bush, I listened to Blix, Ritter, and logic |
|
It was so f****** obvious the administration was making up intell to sell the war. How can her judgment be that bad?

11. I don't think her judgement was that bad; she made a calculated decision. |
|
She talks about the work she's done for children; did she not think about how many children would die when those bombs fell?
You and I both knew Blix, Ritter and logic were right; so did she. She chose to ignore it.

17. Not sure, but I was more concerned with the viable candidates. |
|
If Dodd or Biden started closing on the big three, I would have thrown my support to Edwards, Obama or Kucinich. Dodd and Biden could have won my support with a proper apology and admission that their vote was wrong.
