It's a Republimussen poll (no link yet- I got it from Sludge) so I would take it with a grain of salt... I just hope our two candidates can campaign in a manner that doesn't further divide the party... This election is bigger than both of them...

10. McCain and Romney hate each other intensely.. |
|
they can hardly stand to be in the same room together. If McCain is a stalking horse, he doesn't know it yet.

4. Rasmussen AKA Repubimussen Polls Often Are Outliers |

I like Hillary but if she and Barack fight like they did at the SC debate I'm going to be disappointed in them...If either is exaggerating, embellishing, or fabricating , point it out and move on... The msm will weed it all out...

8. Why Did He Vote Against The MLK Holiday? |
|
I know he reversed himself...
I don't hate him but that vote bothers me...I live in FL and even my uber conservative representative at the time , Bill McCollum, voted in favor of the holiday...

13. He wants to stay in Iraq for 100 more years or more.. |
|
let's see how that baby drives with the voters. His message of "sorry you're fucked, so deal with it" won't be too popular with most voters I'm guessing.

5. Take any Dem vs. Rep poll with a huge grain of salt. |
|
We haven't even started campaigning against each other yet, so it's basically meaningless

6. That should be a warning to each and every one of us NOT to insult |
|
our candidate's Democratic opponents with personal attacks, if we expect their support in the general election
We will need each other
However, I do not necessarily agree with that poll, since in contradicts the feeling of the sentiment that people have about the Iraq war, and mccain's position on it
mccain, in the past has also suggested bringing back the draft

16. Well said. McCain means more war, but the one thing that I |
|
fear could put him in the WH is some kind of terrorist attack in this country before the election.

11. Listen and if you all do nothing else the rest of this campaign |
|
do not trust any poll that shows McCain winning over HRC.
Although the pundits will write off the Clinton win in Florida as a beauty contest, I can't help but to think that when a candidate who didn't campaign in the state at all comes in first ahead of all the Republicans, who have been campaigning hard there, that is to significant to ignore. And it'an even bigger victory because the Democrats who voted for Hillary knew their vote didn'even count. This puts Florida in play as well as Ohio. Folks this is a poll at first blush and if ya think about it go back to 92, Bill after getting the nomination was behind Bush...Bill in 96 was behind Dole.... in 2000 gore was behind bush...well not really behind a bush and truth be known won....kerry on the other hand was behind bush and really never came out from behind bush :hide: .
Folks in this election "symbolism" is going to play one hell of a big role.....

people LOVE the glorious Iraq war.
The Iraq war, and the prospect of another war with Iran, is the key to a GOP victory in 2008. :sarcasm:
