10 Reasons WHY The Democrats Need To Win The White House In 08' (In order of importance)
1) To get the country back in the right direction economically
2).To regain our civil rights lost by Bush such as illegal wiretapping of U.S. citizens.Regaining Habeaus Corpus. Renewing the Geneva Convention Rules. 3)Sending the troops home asap, and ending the occupation in IRAQ
4)The Next President will probably nominate two judges to the U.S. Supreme Court. If the President is a Republican, the judges will be right wing and continue the rulings that benefit the corporations. Not to mention civil rights and reproductive rights may be in peril.
5)A Democratic President will make sure that Universal Health Care is implemented and as soon as possible.
6)Getting a Democrat back into office will help America regain the respect from other countrys that we lost since Bush got into office. 7)To get the balance of power back that Bush took away from the other two branches of government.
8)Ruling the country with Pride and TRUTHS not by fear tactics and lies.
9)If a Republican gets in there we may never know how much corruption the Bush administration has been doing. No doubt a Republican President will continue the massive cover-up 10)Getting jobs coming back into this country, while paying off the debts we owe China and other countries so that they never "Own" us.

He was my guy. But he just didn't get the support. Now we must band together and get either Obama or Hillary in there.Either will do a great job against the Rich Republican Elite.

VERY important post and a VERY important message to keep uppermost in mind.
First, we have to WIN. Then, the rest of these things can become reality. If we lose, there's no hope. Just more of the same shit that already is a proven FAILURE.

9. No shit! We're all down on our knees praying with you! |

It is absolutely essential. I still can't believe many Americans - and there's upwards of 75 percent of us who believe that the country's lurched off onto the wrong track - might buy into the idea that if you want "change," what you need to do after this mess is to replace one rogue republi-CON with another rogue republi-CON.
Repeat after me - "The jobs aren't coming back." "There'll be more wars." "We'll be in Iraq for 100 years."
Fabulous. They want us to swallow MORE of what already has been proven over the last seven-and-some years not to work. Hey! That's the ticket! Let's just have MORE of that!
You REALLY want that, America?
