Did Hillary cry when Iraqi children were being killed by our bombs? |
|
If she felt any sadness over their deaths, she hid it like a pro. Why didn't she speak out for all those innocent children that were killed and have continued to be killed over the past 5 years? She claims she is an advocate for children, is it only for American children?
There's a disconnect here that's apparent. Hillary becomes emotional when it suits her politically.

1. YES I WAS JUST GOING TO make this exact same thread |
|
She voted for the stupid war without reading the iwr and then voted against the levin ammendment. I cried when she voted for that war, she claims bush duped her into believing it was an inspectors check... when in reality the title of the bill said "the authorisation to use force...", i guess she didnt even read the title

Oh, sorry... he wasn't even in the Senate yet. He was representing slum-lords.

You're going to slam Obama for not even being in the Senate for the IWR? Gee, maybe he should just hop in a fucking time machine, go back in time, and run for the Senate in 2000 so that he could be available to vote for that resolution.

7. I'm sure that Hillary cried many times |
|
over Iraqi children. Crying obviously isn't directly associated with the graveness of any situation since many people will openly cry at a phone commercial, and then remain publicly stoic at the death of a friend.

9. Tears of joy, of friendship, of tenderness? No, none of those then |
|
Sometimes I think partisans on this board forget what it is like to be human in order to score political points. Are people like you so emotionally deadened and unobservent of human nature, let alone your own, that you don't know inside yourself that people can and do choke up at different times for different reasons? Have you been personally been deprived of the deeply emotional experinece of seeing some one whose respect once or now means a lot to you choke up while expressing pride in you? A parent perhaps, at a wedding, at a graduation, anywhere?

11. It's different when her political life is on the line |

She prefers to save her tears for the potential death of her presidential aspirations instead of the thousands of Iraqis who have been killed due to her IWR authorization.

14. That is a completely unfair statement. |
|
But that is what is expected of Obama supporters on DU. Why are you all so vengeful and unfair? It does not bode well for your candidate. If this is the kind of behavior he brings out in people, I want no part in it.
